These films spotlight the extraordinary opportunities ICTP provides, empowering scientists from developing nations to collaborate on groundbreaking research while breaking down barriers of geography, gender, class, and ethnicity.

The project.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT & SCRIPT LOGISTICS, FILMING / CINEMATOGRAPHY EDITING MOTION GRAPHICS COLOUR GRADING AUDIO MIXING
We crafted two short documentary films that highlighted key elements of ICTP’s mission.
The first focused on ICTP’s commitment to nurturing early-career scientists through its training and education programmes, showcasing the transformative impact of these initiatives. The second video spotlighted ICTP as a centre of research excellence, capturing the excitement of scientific discovery, its potential for the future, and the importance of making science accessible to all.
Both videos were crafted in a non-technical, people-centred, documentary style. We incorporated rich quotes and testimonials from scientists, ensuring a focus on diversity—spanning gender, geography, scientific fields, and age. Filming took place entirely at ICTP in Trieste, Italy, bringing the organisation’s vibrant community and mission to life.
