Close to a billion people live in extreme poverty, existing on less than $1.25 a day. This short, cinematic advocacy film was produced for the Overseas Development Institute (ODI). It served as a wake-up call to policy makers, urging them to increase their efforts to ensure no one is left behind in the Sustainable Development Goals.
“Played to standing ovation at the SDG summit in New York, and undoubtedly influenced policy-makers in the room.

A short advocacy film, designed to make a difference.
Produced for the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), this advocacy film was created to serve as a wake-up call to policymakers. The film urges leaders to step up their efforts and ensure that the most marginalised communities are not left behind in the push to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through a carefully structured narrative, the film weaves together the stories of four individuals in Ghana, illustrating the stark realities of extreme poverty. Each story is told in three acts, three shots, delivering a visually compelling film.
By combining emotive storytelling with a clear call to action, decision-makers were challenged to advocate for a more equitable future.
