Our
statement
Since 2001, ethical integrity has been at the heart of everything we do. As storytellers, we recognise the power of media to shape perceptions and influence change, and we take this responsibility seriously. We are committed to producing content that has a positive impact, ensuring that every story we tell contributes to meaningful dialogue, inspires action, and upholds the dignity of those involved.
Our approach to storytelling is rooted in respect, fairness, and transparency. We ensure that all individuals who participate in our productions do so with full informed consent, retaining agency over how their stories are told and represented. We reject exploitative or sensationalist narratives, instead focusing on authentic and empowering storytelling that amplifies voices ethically and truthfully.
Fundamental to our work is the principle of Do No Harm. We take every measure to ensure that our productions do not put individuals or communities at risk. This means approaching sensitive topics with care, avoiding retraumatisation, and protecting the privacy and security of those we work with. In humanitarian contexts, we implement safeguarding policies to prevent harm, exploitation, or unintended negative consequences.
Beyond our content, we uphold fair and equitable working conditions. We provide safe working environments, fair wages, and inclusive hiring practices that promote diversity and representation.
We only collaborate with organisations who align with our values, forging partnerships that support ethical storytelling, sustainable development, and human rights.
